UBL CSV and Excel downloads vs converting the PDF

UBL says NetBanking statements can be viewed, printed and emailed for a chosen date range and downloaded in several formats. The app produces PDFs, so converting helps when you start from an app download or an emailed e-statement.

Converting the PDF statement is useful when you need periods outside that window, an account that is closed, or the exact figures printed on the official statement, including the running balance for reconciliation.

    Tips for converting UBL statements

    • UBL app statements are saved as PDFs on your phone. Open the file in the converter on the same device; nothing is uploaded.
    • UBL Digital Buddy shows up to a year of transactions. For a longer record, combine several downloaded statements into one export.

Importing UBL transactions into accounting software

For QuickBooks, Sage 50 and Zoho Books, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the Rs sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: QuickBooks.
