About Guaranty Trust Bank statements
Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) is a Lagos-headquartered bank and part of Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO).
GTBank lets you pull statements covering up to the last six months through GTWorld, *737#, the GTAssistant email service or Internet Banking. Requests from the app, USSD and GTAssistant are emailed to the address profiled on the account. Internet Banking shows the generated statement on screen and exports it as a signed and stamped PDF or as Excel, with dates, remarks, debits, credits and a running naira balance.

GTBank CSV and Excel downloads vs converting the PDF
GTBank Internet Banking can export a generated statement as a signed and stamped PDF or as Excel, but only for the last six months. Converting helps with PDFs emailed from GTWorld, *737# or GTAssistant, or when you want several six-month statements in one file.
Converting the PDF statement is useful when you need periods outside that window, an account that is closed, or the exact figures printed on the official statement, including the running balance for reconciliation.
Tips for converting GTBank statements
- GTBank caps each request at six months. For a full year, request two consecutive statements and load both into the converter to export one combined file.
- Keep the signed and stamped PDF from Internet Banking for official submissions, and convert a copy when you need the figures in Excel or CSV.
- GTBank remarks for transfers often wrap onto a second line; the converter joins them so each transaction keeps a single Description cell.
Importing GTBank transactions into accounting software
For QuickBooks, Sage and Zoho Books, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the ₦ sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: QuickBooks.
