About Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company statements
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank) is a Philippine universal bank offering deposit accounts, credit cards and business banking.
Metrobank's eSOA for savings and checking accounts is generated on demand from Transaction History, so you choose the date range, transaction type and amount range instead of downloading a fixed monthly statement. It only covers the past 90 days and includes transactions from every channel, from ATMs to over-the-counter. The eSOA shows the date each transaction was made, though descriptive details appear a day later. Downloaded files are password protected.

How to download your Metrobank statement as a PDF
- Log in to Metrobank Online, or open the Metrobank App.
- Online: go to Deposits and pick the account. App: select it on the dashboard.
- Under Transaction History, click Download Statement.
- Set the date range, transaction type or amount range.
- Choose PDF or CSV (PDF or XLSX in the app) to download.
The past 90 days in Metrobank Online and the Metrobank App. Printed statements with check images up to 10 years old can be requested from your branch of account for a fee.
Menu names can change between app and website versions.
Metrobank statement PDF password
Your last name in lowercase letters followed by the last four digits of your account number, with no spaces.
Type the password into the converter when it asks. It is used only inside your browser to open the file and is never sent anywhere.
Metrobank CSV and Excel downloads vs converting the PDF
The same Download Statement screen produces CSV in Metrobank Online or XLSX in the Metrobank App, but only for the past 90 days. Older periods come as printed statements from your branch, so converting a PDF or scan is how you get them into a spreadsheet.
Converting the PDF statement is useful when you need periods outside that window, an account that is closed, or the exact figures printed on the official statement, including the running balance for reconciliation.
Tips for converting Metrobank statements
- Metrobank eSOA PDFs open with your lowercase last name plus the last four account digits; enter that in the converter and the file is unlocked locally, not uploaded.
- For recent months, Metrobank's own CSV or XLSX export is quicker; convert PDFs for printed statements older than 90 days, using OCR if they were scanned.
- Download eSOAs without the transaction-type or amount filters when you need a complete record; a filtered file leaves gaps, and any running balance it shows will not reconcile.
Importing Metrobank transactions into accounting software
For QuickBooks, Xero and Zoho Books, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the ₱ sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: QuickBooks, Xero.

Frequently asked questions
What is the password for my Metrobank eSOA?
Metrobank says a downloaded eSOA opens with your last name in lowercase letters followed by the last four digits of your account number, written together with no spaces. This applies to savings and checking statements downloaded from Metrobank Online or the Metrobank App.
How do I download my Metrobank statement in the app?
On the Metrobank App dashboard, select the deposit account, open Transaction History and tap Download Statement. Choose the date range, transaction type or amount range, then pick PDF or XLSX. Only the past 90 days are available; for older transactions, Metrobank asks you to request a statement from your branch of account.
Can I get Metrobank statements older than 90 days?
Not through Metrobank Online or the app, which only cover the past 90 days. Your branch of account can provide a printed statement with check images for a fee: the last 12 months are available immediately, and periods up to 10 years old take two to three banking days.
Is it safe to convert my Metrobank statement here?
Yes. The conversion happens on your own device; your Metrobank statement is not uploaded, stored or shared. This site is independent and not affiliated with Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company.
