Hong Kong banks
How Hong Kong statements are laid out
Hong Kong statements may be bilingual in English and Traditional Chinese, and integrated account statements often combine savings, current and foreign-currency sub-accounts in one document. Dates are day-first and frequently shortened to day and month on transaction lines, with deposits and withdrawals in their own columns. Each currency section is listed separately, so a single statement can contain HKD, USD and other balances.

Using the data in accounting software
Popular tools here include Xero, QuickBooks and Zoho Books. Most accept CSV, and many accept OFX. See the step-by-step pages for Xero and QuickBooks.
Frequently asked questions
Which Hong Kong banks does the converter support?
It reads the transaction table directly, so it works with digital PDF statements from most banks in Hong Kong, including BOCHK, Hang Seng and HSBC HK. Unusual layouts can be corrected in the preview before export.
Does it understand DD/MM/YYYY dates and HK$1,234.56 amounts?
Yes. The converter detects the date order and decimal separator from the statement itself. Exports default to DD/MM/YYYY on this page, and you can switch to any other format before downloading.
Can I import the result into Xero and QuickBooks?
Yes. Export CSV or OFX, both of which are accepted by most accounting packages used in Hong Kong, or Excel if you want to review and edit the data first.
Are my statements uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your web browser. The PDF and any password you enter stay on your device and are discarded when you close the page.
