    Tips for converting BOCHK statements

    • Convert BOCHK consolidated monthly statements rather than daily e-Advices; daily items are only kept for 12 months, while monthly statements stay online for seven years.
    • If headings appear in Chinese as well as English, the converter recognises some Chinese headings; confirm the Date, Debit, Credit and Balance mapping before exporting.

Importing BOCHK transactions into accounting software

For Xero, QuickBooks and Zoho Books, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the HK$ sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: Xero, QuickBooks.
