About First Abu Dhabi Bank statements

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and was formed through the merger of First Gulf Bank and National Bank of Abu Dhabi.

FAB emails account e-statements as password-protected PDF attachments, using an eight-digit password built from your account number and date of birth. Statements list transactions in UAE dirhams, or the account currency, typically with a running balance. The FAB Mobile app also shows transaction history with categories and search filters, though FAB does not document a file export for it.

    FAB statement PDF password

Eight digits: the last four digits of your account number followed by the day and month of your date of birth (DDMM).

Type the password into the converter when it asks. It is used only inside your browser to open the file and is never sent anywhere.

    Tips for converting FAB statements

    • FAB e-statements need the eight-digit password; enter it in the converter, which unlocks the PDF locally so neither the file nor the password leaves your device.
    • Combine several months of FAB e-statements in the converter to produce one Excel sheet, then use the balance check to spot any missing month.

Importing FAB transactions into accounting software

For Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks and Xero, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the AED sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: QuickBooks, Xero.
