About Kotak Mahindra Bank statements
Kotak Mahindra Bank is a Mumbai-headquartered private sector bank whose 811 savings account is opened digitally.
Kotak issues monthly statements for savings and current accounts plus an Annual Combined Statement for the previous financial year. Transactions are usually listed with a date, a narration, a cheque or reference number, separate withdrawal and deposit amounts and a balance. Amounts use Indian lakh grouping, and narrations for UPI transfers can be long enough to wrap.

Kotak statement PDF password
Kotak does not state the account-statement password on its public pages. It is widely reported to be your CRN (Customer Relationship Number); if that fails, check the email that came with the statement.
Type the password into the converter when it asks. It is used only inside your browser to open the file and is never sent anywhere.
Kotak CSV and Excel downloads vs converting the PDF
Kotak Net Banking offers yearly statements in CSV for the current and last financial year and calendar year, under Banking > Savings/Current Account > View/Download Account Statement. Monthly statements are PDFs, so conversion helps for shorter periods or emailed copies.
Converting the PDF statement is useful when you need periods outside that window, an account that is closed, or the exact figures printed on the official statement, including the running balance for reconciliation.
Tips for converting Kotak statements
- Kotak's CSV download covers whole financial or calendar years only. For a single month or a custom period, convert the monthly PDF statement instead.
- Emailed Kotak statements are protected PDFs. Type the password into the converter; it is used only in your browser to open the file.
Importing Kotak transactions into accounting software
For TallyPrime, Zoho Books and Busy, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the ₹ sign, so they import cleanly as values.
