    About Punjab National Bank statements

Punjab National Bank (PNB) is a public sector bank headquartered in New Delhi.

Punjab National Bank sends monthly e-statements to the registered email of savings, current, overdraft and cash credit customers who sign up, and stops paper statements once registration is active. Transactions are listed by date with a narration, cheque number, debit and credit amounts and a running balance, which may carry Cr or Dr markers on overdraft-type accounts.

    Tips for converting PNB statements

    • PNB balances on overdraft and cash credit accounts can carry Cr or Dr suffixes. The converter reads those markers, so balances come through with the right sign.
    • If your PNB e-statement is password protected, enter the password given in the covering email or SMS; it is used in your browser only.
    • Monthly PNB e-statements can be loaded together and exported as one file covering a full financial year.

Importing PNB transactions into accounting software

For TallyPrime, Zoho Books and Busy, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the ₹ sign, so they import cleanly as values.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I register for PNB e-statements?

In PNB Internet Banking go to Other Services > Service Requests > New Requests > Email Statement Registration. Or send ESTMT, the last four digits of your account and your email ID, separated by spaces, to 9264092640 or 5607040 from your registered mobile. The service is free and monthly.

What is the password for a PNB statement PDF?

PNB does not publish a password rule on its e-statement page, and online guides disagree. Check the email or SMS that came with the statement, which normally explains the format. Once you have it, type it into the converter; it never leaves your browser.

Can I still get a paper PNB statement after switching to email?

PNB stops physical statements once e-statement registration is active, but you can ask your branch for a duplicate statement when needed. If an institution wants the transactions as a spreadsheet instead, convert the emailed PDF here.

Is it safe to convert my PNB statement here?

Yes. The conversion happens on your own device; your PNB statement is not uploaded, stored or shared. This site is independent and not affiliated with Punjab National Bank.
