About Desjardins Group statements
Desjardins Group is a cooperative financial group based in Lévis, Quebec, made up of member-owned caisses that offer chequing, savings and credit card accounts.
Desjardins issues a monthly statement for each everyday account, identified by folio number and period. Each transaction line shows the date, a three-letter transaction code, a description and the balance after the transaction. Codes include ATW for an ATM withdrawal, PUR for a purchase and DIR for a direct deposit, and an I in front of a code marks a transaction made at another caisse.

Tips for converting Desjardins statements
- Three-letter codes such as ATW or PUR appear on each line; after converting, check they landed in the description or Reference column so you can filter by them.
- Every line shows the balance after the transaction, so the balance check can confirm the whole statement; a highlighted row usually points to a sign that needs correcting.
