About Tangerine Bank statements
Tangerine is a branchless digital bank owned by Scotiabank and formerly known as ING Direct Canada.
Tangerine statements are produced per account and, because Tangerine has no branches, mostly show electronic activity: transfers between Tangerine accounts, Interac e-Transfers, bill payments, pre-authorized payments and interest. Each entry typically has a date, description and amount, with a balance. Tangerine credit card statements are separate and follow the usual card layout of purchases, payments and interest.

Tips for converting Tangerine statements
- Tangerine statements are full of transfers between your own Tangerine accounts; when converting several accounts, make sure those internal moves are not counted as income or spending.
- Combine a year of Tangerine statements into one Excel workbook, one sheet per statement, so interest credits are easy to total at tax time.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find Tangerine statements online?

Can I turn a Tangerine statement into a spreadsheet?
Yes. Download the PDF from Documents, then load it into the converter in your browser. It reads the date, description and amount columns and exports Excel, CSV or OFX. If you only have a scanned copy, switch on the optional OCR so the text can be read.
