    About St.George Bank statements

St.George Bank is part of the Westpac Group, alongside its sister brands Bank of Melbourne and BankSA.

St.George eStatements are viewed per account in Internet Banking or the St.George App, with up to seven years of history. Each statement lists the period’s transactions from an opening to a closing balance. For shorter needs, St.George offers 30, 60 and 90-day transaction reports and a separate proof of balance document, but neither replaces a full statement when you need a complete record for bookkeeping or tax.

Typical Australia statement headings and where they go in your export:

St.George CSV and Excel downloads vs converting the PDF

St.George offers 30, 60 and 90-day transaction reports alongside your latest transactions. For a whole financial year or an earlier period, the seven years of eStatements are the fuller record, and converting them gives you CSV, Excel or OFX.

Converting the PDF statement is useful when you need periods outside that window, an account that is closed, or the exact figures printed on the official statement, including the running balance for reconciliation.

    Tips for converting St.George statements

    • A 90-day transaction report won't cover a full financial year; combine the St.George eStatements for the year in the converter and export one CSV or OFX file.
    • St.George statements use day-first Australian dates; if a short statement leaves the order unclear, set Read dates as to day-first before exporting.

Importing St.George transactions into accounting software

For Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the $ sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: Xero, QuickBooks.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I view St.George eStatements in the app?

Log on to the St.George App, select the account and choose statements from the navigation along the top. In Internet Banking, select the account and choose View eStatements. Up to seven years of statements are available, and each one can be saved or printed.

Is a St.George proof of balance the same as a statement?

No. Proof of balance is a separate document in the app under Services, then My statements and Mail. It confirms a balance rather than listing a full period of transactions, so for bookkeeping or a tax return convert the eStatement instead.

Is it safe to convert my St.George statement here?

Yes. The conversion happens on your own device; your St.George statement is not uploaded, stored or shared. This site is independent and not affiliated with St.George Bank.
