About Revolut statements
Revolut is a London-headquartered financial technology company offering app-based accounts with multi-currency spending and currency exchange.
Revolut generates statements per currency account, so someone holding pounds, euros and dollars gets a separate document for each. A statement shows the account holder details, a balance summary and the completed and reverted transactions for the timeframe you pick. You choose the period when you generate it rather than waiting for a monthly statement, and the app offers PDF or Excel.
Typical United Kingdom statement headings and where they go in your export:
| On the statement | In your export |
|---|---|
| Date | Date |
| Payment type | Reference |
| Description | Description |
| Paid out | Debit (and negative Amount) |
| Paid in | Credit (and positive Amount) |
| Money out | Debit (and negative Amount) |
Also known as Revolut Bank, Revolut UK and Revolut Business.
How to download your Revolut statement as a PDF
- On the Home screen, tap 'Accounts' below your balance.
- Select the currency account you need a statement for.
- Tap 'More' (...), then 'Statement'.
- Choose the timeframe and PDF, then tap 'Generate'.
Menu names can change between app and website versions.
Revolut CSV and Excel downloads vs converting the PDF
Personal statements can be generated in the app as PDF or Excel for a chosen timeframe and currency, and business accounts get extra formats including CSV. Converting a PDF helps when PDFs are all you kept, or when someone else sent you their statement.
Converting the PDF statement is useful when you need periods outside that window, an account that is closed, or the exact figures printed on the official statement, including the running balance for reconciliation.
Tips for converting Revolut statements
- Each currency has its own statement, so convert them one at a time; putting a GBP and a EUR statement in one sheet would mix currencies in the totals.
- Revolut statements list reverted transactions as well as completed ones. Review the preview and balance check results so reversed card payments are not double-counted in your books.
Importing Revolut transactions into accounting software
For Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the £ sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: Xero, QuickBooks.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get a Revolut bank statement?
Go to Home, tap 'Accounts' below your balance and choose the currency. Tap 'More', select 'Statement', set the timeframe and choose PDF or Excel, then tap 'Generate'. Repeat this for every currency you hold, because Revolut creates one statement per currency account.
Can I convert a Revolut PDF statement to CSV?
Yes. Open the PDF in the converter, check that dates, descriptions and amounts landed in the right columns, and export CSV, Excel, OFX or JSON. This is useful when you only have an older PDF, or when an accountant or client sent statements in PDF form.
Is it safe to convert my Revolut statement here?
Yes. The conversion happens on your own device; your Revolut statement is not uploaded, stored or shared. This site is independent and not affiliated with Revolut.
