About Chime statements
Chime is a San Francisco-based financial technology company that provides checking and savings accounts through partner banks, including The Bancorp Bank and Stride Bank.
Chime issues monthly statements for Checking and Savings, while Credit Builder statements follow its own billing cycle. A checking statement summarizes the beginning balance, money in, money out and ending balance, then lists each transaction with a date, description and amount. With no branches, entries are mostly direct deposits, card purchases, transfers, Pay Anyone payments and ATM withdrawals.

| Date | Date |
| Description | Description |
| Check No. | Reference |
| Withdrawals | Debit (and negative Amount) |
| Deposits | Credit (and positive Amount) |

Also known as Chime Bank, Chime Financial and Chime Credit Builder.

Chime CSV and Excel downloads vs converting the PDF
Chime's help centre documents monthly PDF statements as the way to export account records and does not describe a CSV or Quicken download. Converting the statement PDF is the straightforward way to get Chime transactions into a spreadsheet.
Converting the PDF statement is useful when you need periods outside that window, an account that is closed, or the exact figures printed on the official statement, including the running balance for reconciliation.
Tips for converting Chime statements
- Chime has no documented CSV export, so convert each monthly PDF and combine several months into one Excel file for budgeting or a loan application.
- Keep Checking, Savings and Credit Builder statements in separate files; Credit Builder is card-style, so check that charges and payments came out with the right signs.
Importing Chime transactions into accounting software
For QuickBooks, Xero, Quicken and Wave, export CSV or OFX after checking the preview. Amounts are written as plain numbers without the $ sign, so they import cleanly as values. Step-by-step help: QuickBooks, Xero.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download a Chime bank statement?
In the app, tap Profile, then Documents and Account statements, choose the account and month, and use the export icon. On chime.com, go to Profile and Documents and select the statement. Chime does not mail paper statements, but you can print the downloaded PDF.
Can I export Chime transactions to Excel?
Chime's help centre describes PDF statements as the downloadable record and does not mention a CSV export. To get transactions into Excel, download the monthly statement and run it through the converter, which produces an .xlsx or CSV file in your browser.
What if I can't log in to get my Chime statements?
Chime says that without access to the app or chime.com you cannot download statements yourself, and asks you to contact Chime support by phone for copies. Once you have the PDF, the converter can turn it into a spreadsheet.
Is it safe to convert my Chime statement here?
Yes. The conversion happens on your own device; your Chime statement is not uploaded, stored or shared. This site is independent and not affiliated with Chime.
